Dr. Lisa Funnell is a media educator who is passionate about representation (gender, race, sexuality, nationality, ability) and geopolitics in popular film. She has been interviewed by major news outlets (such as CNN, BBC, Esquire) and her research has been featured in media around the world. She enjoys engaging in thoughtful and constructive conversations about film and has been featured on numerous podcasts including James Bond & Friends where she is a regular contributor.
