Events

Dr. Lisa Funnell is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the film industry, higher education, and her local community. She has both organized and participated in events on campus and within the local community that promote social and media literacy—the ability to read, interpret, and think critically about society and culture. She has also spoken at film festivals and welcomes the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with people about film.
